OK, It's called the Jewel series, it's 7 books, each one has to do with a jewel, and it's in one of the UAE emirates, 'cause there are 7, here's book 1:-

Book 1: Diamond
This is in Dubai, a girl named Neda finds that her uncle is getting married soon, going to his wedding, later on; his new wife finds that the diamond ring he got her is a fake! It's made of plastic, when Neda goes back to try and find out what happens, she finds that the shop where her uncle bought the diamond ring, was full of honest, loyal people, and a Filipino had been spying through the windows and distracted the shop keepers, taking the diamond and putting the plastic instead, but when Neda sees the description of the Filipino walking by, with his girl friend wearing the ring, she stalks them until they fall asleep, stealing back the ring, but is found out and tries to run, she reaches her uncle, tells him what happened, and the Filipino couple get arrested.
And the jewelers shop was at Dubai Mall. -

Book 2: Ruby
Tammer goes to Al Ahmedia School, in Abu Dhabi, built in 1912, the corridors are filled with secrets, he later finds out about a student who was very rich and came to the school, but he hid a ruby necklace he found, for fear of his step father stealing everything he had, when Tammer finds out that a new principal has come, and seems a bit weird, Tammer grows suspicious of him, especially when he warns the students of a closet that had a ghost inside, and scared everyone - except him, so later on, he follows the principal to see what he's up to, when he finds that he gets to his house, and the old principal was being tied there! So later next day he pulls the fire alarm and when everybody goes out, he goes to the principals office, steals the key, and unlocks the door, finding under a tile, a ruby necklace in the ground, tells the police everything, and the principal gets arrested, and the ruby necklace is for him! (Which he gives to his mama) =) -
