my dad gets mad if I even say "Jesus" and especially when I go "Jesus Christ" which is, unfortunately, a phrase I use frequently
like 20 minutes ago I said "f---" while playing a video game and then I went "uh I mean crap" but he actually didn't say anything so idk
(I'm 17 if that matters)
most of my friends' parents let them curse in front of them
how common is that though? -
I do a lot, and they only get mad occasionally (I'm 18 so I don't think they care too much)

I'm a grown person so I cuss whenever I want

My parents only speak Spanish, so if I say "s---" or "b----" they don't mind. But if I say "f---" they get mad.
Lucky for me, I hardly curse
My younger brother on the other hand. -
I don't really curse much at all so not really
My mom curses around us (the older ones) and when we have before she doesn't get upset -
My biological parents curse at me constantly and I curse at them and they don't care
My grandma on the other hand, she gets mad when I say like b---- or s--- and days not to, but if I say "Jesus Christ" or "Jesus" she screamed at me to not take the Lord's name in vain -
I've never cursed before, random fact.

I mean my sister (almost 18) just gets a scold, then thing go to normal. My brother (15/16?) Swears a lot, most of the time my mom says "excuse me?". For me, I'm not dumb enough to swear in front of her. But, if I joke with her saying "chill out" or "calm yourself" she'll start yelling at me saying I can't tell her what to do and she's my mother I can't talk to her like that. Like she'll get really pissed.

I only swear around my parents and siblings. anyone else and my ass is grass. the rest of my family is pretty conservative

when i was about 10, i once called my dog “such a little b----”, when she wouldnt go pee outside like i told her to. i thought i made that word up on the spot, then my mom rushed over to me and grabbed my arm

Calling a female dog a b---- technically isn't cursing.
