Thread Topic: People Watching Thread

I work at a fairly busy fast food restaurant, where I encounter a lot of rather... Interesting types of people. Often, I find myself storing away their descriptions in the back of my head. This thread is my official place to keep track of ones that particularly catch my interest.

This will be fun!

The one that I can't seem to get out of my head isn't a specific person, but rather a group of four.
A tall African-American man, rather on the lean side, wearing a hoodie from what I supposed was his high school's basketball team. He had a class ring, and a single ear pierced. His jeans weren't anything fancy, and his tennis shoes were beat up, but he was well groomed and was the one who ordered for the group.
There were two girls. One had beautiful, wildly curly brown-gold hair, and wore a shirt proclaiming her Native American pride. She had wide eyes framed with thick lashes, and freckles all over her face. Honestly, she was beautiful, and carried herself with this... This knowledge of her own power.
The other girl was thin and tall, with pale skin and lengthy ginger hair. She, too, had freckles but they were thinner and less noticeable. She wore a fancy, obviously high-quality floral print shirt, with holes on her shoulders and flares at her wrists, which were adorned in gold bracelets. She stuck to the back of the group and didn't approach the counter at all, arms crossed over her chest and eyes darting around nervously.
The fourth member of their entourage was a heavier-set high school boy, with a greasy bowl cut covered particularly with a baseball cap. The bill had been curved in and sported a fishhook or two. His clothes were just as dirty as his hair, and his boots were well-worn, but obviously sturdy. He looked as if he might have been hunting that morning, with the camo jumpsuit he was wearing. He paid for the group, pulling a fifty out of a peeling leather billfold. Him and the shy girl seemed to be close, and the other two appeared to be a couple as well.
I can't get them out of my head. What an odd mix of people. What were they doing? Going on a double date? How did they meet? Are they friends? -
Another one:
There's an impossibly tall, aged man that comes in once every couple of months or so. He wears a battered straw cowboy hat with the bill bent back, and a faded green piece of cloth tied around the base of the cap. It's not too different from the one my grandfather used to wear, just older and without a cord serving as a chin string.
Anyways, this man caught my attention because his name is James. James, at the time, was also the name of one of my favorite co-workers- He was upbeat, with ginger hair and crooked teeth, and a very distinct face. He left a week or so before Old-Man James started showing up.
Old-Man James looks a lot like the other James. Startlingly so, that the first time I saw him, my brain instantly supplied the words "time-traveler."
His hair is grey, though, so I can't say for sure what color it used to be. Their smile is the same, though, and their teeth. -
Maybe a father or grandfather?
