Thread Topic: What do you angst over?

Alright, guys. I have an assignment for my theatre class that I'm not sure how to tackle.
I have to write a monologue about teen angst. For example, depression, bullying, boredom, crushes, homework, things like that.
I'm toying with several different angsty topics, but what about y'all? What's a problem most teens face that I could turn into an interesting and unique monologue? -
I'm thinking about writing it about a kid who gets caught skipping, like the monologue consists of them trying to explain it to the principal?

You should do one about a boy/girl who has a crush, but the crush already knows. The girl/boy are really close to said crush. This girl/boy has some odd behaviors, because she/he gets bullied, and she/he tries to explain them to said crush.

stress, anxiety, panic attacks, maybe suicidal thoughts
what if the kid skips and you could do a monolog of each thing they're feeling while having an anxiety attack: the sweating, crying, out-of-body experience
the cold shiver and the chill of their blood turning cold out of fear of getting in trouble
the sinking in their chest, their rapid heart beat
their thoughts running wild
the burning sensation of needing to say something but they can't because their voice keeps cracking and the frustration of it
these are just some suggestions
