The two heard someone walking close by. They instantly stopped, and pricked their ears, curiously.

"Why do I have to be stuck with that thing you call a sister?" He mumbled under his breath.

Max shifted into a pink kitten, and raced off toward the person, not waiting for Koko.
Her brother followed, quickly shifting into a larger purple cat. -
I saw a kitten and a cat approach. Good, something that won't kill me from the inside. He petted their heads. "Hey guys, How are you?" He smiled.

Max's eyes glinted with mischief as Koko glared at her.
"Fine"she said, making Koko hiss. -
"WHAT THE? YOU CAN TALK?" Marcus thought. "Actually you guys sound pretty nice." He said affter a while.

Max flicked her red tipped tail, and said "I'm Masquerade, or just Max"
"Kokoran..Koko for short."the silky furred tom said. "Nice to meet you" -
"Nice to meet you. I'm Marcus. Or Mark." He seemed relieved.

Max smirked, and said "Your not shocked about talking cats? That's a shame.."
Koko cuffed her ear. -
"I'd be shocked if it was an ant. or maybe a grizzly. I've heard of talking Cats. Not talking ants." He then said "Oh My! This cat is talking to me! I'm going to faint!" The shock was fake as plastic.

Max swatted at Mark, eyes narrowed "Hardy har har har"
Koko chuckled, flicking his tail. -
Mark knelt down. "So, Where ya from?"

Max blinked, and said "A house. "
Koko rolled his eyes, and said "We live in the forest" -
"Wow. Lucky. I have to be alone with a girl that acts like she's 3 for the whole year. Atleast she's mature!" I pointed to Max.
