At a fast food place to be exact.
Do y'all charge for water? -
hell naw
-
Where do you work at?

We have a free water jug and we sell water bottles for 1.06 (that's with tax).
-
Ah.. Well, let's say that y'all start charging for water, would you agree or disagree?
-
So customers ask for a cup for the jug?
-
Nope. The cups are next to the jug. They're just little plastic cups.
-
Oh okay.
But they pay for the bottles? Do you ever have customers complain? -
They've never complained, no. Some people prefer the bottles, and we tell them the other one's free, but they'd pay for a bottle anyway. With it being only 1.06, I guess people don't have too much of an issue with it. Just don't go for the volcano water, that s---'s almost $3.
-
um... Okay so at Taco Bell, we have to charge them 10 cents (11 cents with tax). But the thing is, we charge for the cup, not water.
A lot of customers complain and throw fits about it but??? There are some people who purchase a water cup and get soda/tea instead of water. -
I can agree with that. It's not a huge price, and it's to make up for the b------s that basically steal from you. The company pays for beverages and cups, so the price, even though small, makes up for it.
Like, our boss pays for the water bottles to be delivered, so having a price on them is their profit/way of paying for it. -
It's the same for senior drinks. Some seniors get mad for charging them 10 cents. Idk if you charge for senior drinks or not but it's really annoying.
Exactly. Sorry we don't want to f--- up the icos or whatever.. -
Well, I work in frozen yogurt these days lol
We actually have a 10% discount for students, teachers, seniors, and military. So that probably tides the seniors' anger a bit for us. -
Oh man that's a lot of chances for discounts.. Where do you work at?
