Using the equation A = Pe^rt
A = 4000
P = 2000
e~2.7182 (it's known as "e" on the calculator)
r = .041
We're solving for t but I'm not sure what to do. I feel like I should divide by 4000? -
no

If you are solving for t, moved everything to the opposite side. Which means you would divide but r (.014) first. Then the others would follow suit. Remember when you divide .014 divide it by 4000 as well. After you divide all of the numbers, you should have your answer.

What does '^' mean?

That makes sense... Let me see if that's how I should be solving it. Thanks
^ is for exponents. The "r x t" or "rt" is supposed to be above the e -
THIS IS WHAT I HAVE TO LOOK FOWARD TOOO>?????

^ is "to the power of"
