Thread Topic: PSA for everyone on here

It is NOT by any means acceptable to encourage people to commit suicide, or to encourage suicidal behavior. In fact, in a lot of places, it is illegal, especially if the person actually commits suicide. So if anyone kills themselves, and you tell them to do it, guess what? You just technically assisted a suicide.
I'm disgusted by a lot of you. You know better.
Stop being stupid f---ing c---s and help them out. Talk them out of it -
Hana Ako is a troll, they've threatened to do it many times before now
-
It doesn't matter. It's still not ok.
-
To be fair, users are only edging on a troll. Maruicea/Hana Akao/Rainstorm and any other users handled by that person are nothing but trouble. I've been trying for months to delete their accounts. If anything is disgusting, it's the fact that they're joking about it and using such a serious platform as means to gain attention. I've made several warnings about the user myself, and I thought that people would remember them by now.
However, on the topic at hand, I completely and wholeheartedly agree. There's a limit to how funny jokes are when it comes to suicide. -
I'm not sure if you're aware but we made a rule about suicide jokes. It's somewhere in the F&U forum.
-
I do understand that trolls are annoying and that they are making fun of people on here. But troll or not, it was an immature way to handle the troll situation. Reporting trolls is all that is necessary.
I didn't mean to freak out. It is just not ok.
What if hypothetically, that user wasn't a troll, and a user in need of help? -
I did see it a while ago. But I kinda thought this was important.
-
That is true, yes.
No, it's fine and completely understandable.
If there truly was a user in need of help, any posts concerning the action in a negative light (including jokes like "go do it already" or "go kill yourself") would be automatically deleted by moderators, or in the very least, I would mark it myself. -
I think it would be easy to distinguish what users are trolls and what users need help. I do understand that suicidal people plan things, but they won't tell anyone. If this user wanted help (which I have tried many times), it is their decision. Do I think people should edge the troll on, that's not for me to decide. If the mods find nothing wrong with it, then that's that.
Me, being previously suicidal myself (and trying to get help), have talked to this user before, even with my previous account. They have done this before. Am I saying that they don't deserve help, no. But if they want help, they actually need to speak up. When you ask why, or questions that would lead to an eventual answer, you never get a straight one.
