  "I knew I could smell a rat, or more like it, a dog," Edward growled, but tried to keep semi calm. His eyes fell on Jacob and Bella working on some sort of motor thing, but what was more surprising was the way the Native American male looked. Shirtless, his tan skin giving color to his muscular form, and his long hair flowing along his shoulders. It was quite a sight, even Edward knew. Bella looked shocked, and managed to say, "What are you doing here?"

  Renesmee smiled at Myra, and even though Myra was four years older than Nessi, they were the same height.

  "I, I had to check on you," Edward said, glaring at Jacob. "She's fine, she doesn't need a bloodsucking parasite like you to protect her," Jacob replied, almost like poison was dripping from his voice. "Right, and like she needs a beast that could turn on her any second and lose control to 'protect' her," Edward hissed, getting more and more irritated. "Guys stop!" Bella finally broke in. "Everything is fine. And Edward I'm glad you're here, I need to talk to you."
