I was in the middle of a video game with a friend of mine. Now, keep in mind, the community here is pretty toxic. You rarely get a game without someone who is up your ass for something you've done... Or haven't done.
There is an option in this game to "ping" at allies, which basically can tell you to back off, go in, ect:

So, I "pinged" my ally a few times. They told me to stop bullying them. Keep in mind, there's a way to SPAM pings. I was, by no means at all, "spamming" this person. So I ignored them.
Later into the game, this person said "omfg I want to kill myself." I knew, at this point, they were trolling. So I calmly typed in chat:
"This is a video game. However, if you are truly serious about this, you should consider calling a suicide prevention hotline."
Immediately got flamed, and both this ally and another reported me for "bullying." When I asked how telling someone to get SERIOUS HELP was bullying, I was told that I was basically "telling them they needed to get help"? Like, no s---??? They wanted to commit suicide and I was telling them to get help if they were serious?
Would you agree that I was "bullying," or not? -
