I have no personal experience with this, but I heard that the procedure is pretty quick and painless. Plus the doctors will have you sedated anyways, so don't worry about it
You'll get to have ice cream later. -
It went OK,but what happened is that I can't eat or swallow with out immense pain on my adenoids , the tonsil part is alright,but swallowing hurts

My brother's friend lied to us then. Said it wasn't really painful. -
Yeah, it doesn't hurt during it because they put a mask on you and its like boom your awake and its been done, but tehn everything hurts,my chest , my mouth,my jaw,my throat , m y adenoids etc

My parenst bought a whole giant tub of icecream for me, and they gave me a icee thingy , but yes , depends on your hospital

my brother had that done when he was 6 and @ the hospital, he woke up from sedative and was like "are my tonsils gone???" and we were all like "yes sweetie" and he started crying and said "when do i get em back????"
