"Huh, oh a human is a type of mammal, I think. Hehe, I may be human but I never felt like it though." She watched as Rito went back to sitting on her shoulder. "I always wanted to fly, like a bird. But that probably will never happen."

"I wouldn't doubt it. Anything's possible." Neru said,

"Yeah, hopefully." They finally reached the beginnings of the city, walking by a store of fresh fruits and vegetables. "Ooh I need to go in here," Kiki exclaimed and started walking inside looking at the displays in awe. "How does one trade for these items?" She asked.

(I'm back. And now I'm sitting in front of the computer with soaking wet hair. :P)
Xadrian further away from the city, nervously looking behind his shoulder every once in awhile, as if something would jump out and grab him at any minute. When Xadrian assumed he was far enough from the city, he whistled the highest sound he could manage.
A silvery gray-and-black head popped out of the bushes after a moment. Xadrian motioned for Nakkita to come closer, and the wolf jumped the rest of the way out of the bushes and padded over to his human friend. Xadrian stroked Nakkita's head, and, noticing blood stains near Nakkita's jaws, assumed that his wolves had gone on a successful hunt. Most likely, that was why Dusk and Lumina hadn't responded to his call. They ere still hunting. Xadrian jumped on Nakkita's back and motioned for him to head into the city. He knew it was dangerous to take any wolf so deep into a city, expecially such a large one like Nakkita, but it was a risk that would need to be taken. Xadrian hadn't eaten for three and a half days now - he was starving. Nakkita came closer to the city, running at full speed. -
Neru stopped and backed up, "With money?" she said, not fully grasping the question.

"Oh, what's money?" Kiki asked, feeling a bit dumbfounded?

Neru stared and pulled out her wallet, 'This?" she passed a 20 dollar bill to Neru" depends on what the sign says. -
"Oh! So I could use this stuff?" Kiki looked inside her backpack and found a wad of green paper. "Strange thing to trade for food, don't you think?" She replied.

"Yeah but guess that's how it works. I never really saw the value of a printed cloth." Neru said, staring at the dollar bill, "And how'd you get all that money??" she asked. -
"Hmm, I found it one day in a smaller town. They look like some sort of tickets, or um important documents. I guess I saved it in case I found the owner of it." She pointed to the picture on it, and the name of an old president printed on it.

Nakkita slowed his pace as they entered the city. The silvery wolf with Xadrian on his back avoided busy streets, staying closer to alleys, although the city wasn't very busy at this time of day. Xadrian spotted a store. He saw the two girls from earlier inside, but that didn't matter. "Stay here. And don't attract attention!" Xadrian whispered. Nakkita layed down obediently behind a dumpster - although it was kind of hard to hide a horse-sized wolf in an alley - while Xadrian walked into the store.

Kiki saw the boy from earlier enter the store, and smiled. He seemed so different, and her curiousity got the best of her. She slowly walked over to him. "Hi, I'm Kiki. I saw you earlier at the lake."

"Oh." Neru said looking at the president. "I think that's just the design.." she said, squinting, "Anyways, didn't you want to get supplies?"
