Neru got annoyed and walked over to the manager's office and knocked, as soon as she'd opened the door, she threw an apple straight up into her face like with the kid, and knocked her out. She giggled and went off trying to figure out which way animal control went.

"I think it's time to banana split," Kiki said, running out of the store, and saw the vehicles chasing after the wolf and Xadrian. She started running, chasing after the scene.

Magnus leaned forward and picked an apple off the ground. They had gone extince by the time he was born and he had never seen one before.

Neru started chasing after the vehicles with Kiki.

They were already halfway out of the city before Xadrian noticed the animal control van behind him. "Keep going!" he whispered in Nakkita's ear. A sudden howl peirced the air. After a moment, it was joined by a lower pitched howl, and a white wolf who Xadrian recognized as Lumina jumped out of the tall grass and ran beside Nakkita and Xadrian. Dusk jumped out on the other side of Nakkita.
Crap.
Now, not only did the animal control know that a giant wolf and a thirteen-year-old runaway boy were living in a forest, but now they knew there were two more giant wolves as well. -
Kiki, being a surprisingly fast runner, saw as two other large wolves come along the chase. Dang, this is getting weirder and weirder. She thought and kept following.

Xadrian leaned towards the right, steering Nakkita to the right as well. He couldn't lead the animal control to their forest, that would mean death for the wolves and most likely another orphanage for Xadrian.
