I love dragon age 2, though Inquisition stole my heart and the DLCs aren't half bad. Trespasser hurt the most though.
Personally I can't wait til they announce the next one. -
Trespasser broke me because I decided "Dorian's great, let's romance Dorian" and seeing my elf inky get so upset hurt my soul--
I feel like an announcement will be coming soon since they just released the new Mass Effect recently. -
Oh god I did the Solas romance and the Dread Wolf stole my heart...and my arm. I love Dorian, he's a funny companion and you just get attached to him and then he says he's never coming back. I bawled at that. He's like the gay best friend I wish I had.
I feel like it too. They teased something I think a year back and I'm on the edge of my freaking seat waiting for it. -
I was working on a Solas run but got distracted by Overwatch and Final Fantasy, haha. I might have to get back to playing it in my free time. Iron bull was also one of the funniest romances I had, absolutely perfect I tell ya. And at least Dorian says he'll keep in touch even though he has to be in Tevinter.
In the next year, I feel like it'll be a 2018-2019 release. I can't wait to see the kind of protag we'll get and the cameos! -
Its worth it to do his playthrough but it hurts. Like after finishing Trespasser I curled up on my couch with a blanket and played sad songs because it hurt knowing that he loved my character, but he can't have her because of his plans. Oh god I have to agree with you on the Iron Bull one, he's freaking hilarious to romance. I know, but it still made me feel like I was saying goodbye to a good friend.
I have the same feeling and since the Mass Effect stuff has been put on hiatus they might be doing it now or maybe they have been developing it and have been keeping it hush hush except for the few teasers they released. Same and I hope the Inquisitor comes back as well and I can't wait to see the Tivinter Imperium landscape. -
So many of these romances hurt, in every game. Like, even Zevran in Origins hurts knowing that he was like "yeah, we'll bang, but that's it" and then it gradually becomes "I love so much". They make relationships that just hurt.
Their pattern is usually release a Mass Effect, then a Dragon Age from what I've gathered. If it takes place in Tevinter, Dorian better be a f---in cameo - no ifs, ands, or buts about it. As for the Inquisitor, I suspect they'll either have mentions of them, they'll be like Cullen/Lilianna (someone who can fight, but doesn't), or they'll do what they did with Hawke. -
I knnnooowww. Alistair's romance hurt in Origins too. Just Solas's really got to me more. I get attached to a lot of the characters in the Dragon Age franchise and lets just say I cry a lot when I play the games. All relationships hurt...except for Sera. And Bull.
Yeah thats what I'm thinking too and I would love it if Dorian made a cameo in the next game. At the end of Trespasser the Inquisitor kinda hints about Tivinter being the next place, but I just gotta wait and see what happens. I can see that happening as well, the Hawke one sounds a bit better though. -
One of my friends who's big on Mass Effect says that those romances can be the same way, and that he made two women fight for his protag. It was glorious. I can't wait for what new characters we can romance~
People have been saying that, yes. As weird as it would be, Teviniter would be a great place to at least go to in the next game. If they do what they did with Hawke, the only issue is that Inquisitor won't really be able to fight. They'd probably be more in the background. -
I really can't wait to see the new options they will have and I wanna see what they do if someone romanced Solas. I personally want to know if the Inquisitor will confront them again or help try to stop him from destroying the world to create the old world again that he destroyed by making the Veil. Being impatient sucks.
It really would, you'd be dealing with a different culture with different problems than the usual Orlisian and Fereldan problems, though you might be able to travel to those places again. Yeah that's true enough, so maybe they might guide the new protagonist through their journey. -

And yes! I can't wait to see how our choices affected the game, especially with my Dori-Inky romance. If both are in the game, I want to see how they interact together.
Yeah, we'll probably still be able to travel all over Thedas, and hopefully to some other new lands like Antiva maybe? x3
I hope we still get all the race options for the protag because elf + Tevinter = drama~. Just like Cullen, Josephine, or Leliana - Inky will probably be support! It'll just be great to see fresh, new landscapes, romance options, and characters in general. -
I knnnoow~ can't wait, hell I'll go to the midnight release for it and get the collector's edition if I have to when it comes out. I'm glad I have my Dragon Age Keep up to date on what I did in all the games. So I really can not wait to see what my choices have gotten me for the new one. Lilith is one of my most perfect characters that I have made for the game.
Hell yeah I would love to go to Antiva, Josephine always talked about the place being amazing and it would be cool to see it in game. I agree with you on that, I always love the elves in these games and the drama will be juicy. It really will be great. -

I dunno if I could ever do a midnight release, depends on school and work, but if I can preorder, I def will! Same, I always keep my DA Keep up to date, since I have DAI for PS4 and PC. My favorite baby of all is my elfy Kailash.
And I heard so much about the Antivan Crows from Zevran. Wonder if they'll go as far as that cameo, but I doubt it. He was a cameo in DA2, and was mentioned by Leliana and sent a letter to the Inquisition in DAI. I will still dream~
Although, my true dream is having all the elves (Zevran, Fenris, Sera) together to catch Solas - a joke that people have been making for awhile. Would be hilarious. -

I have been to about two midnight releases for games and its honestly tame, but I have to get a job and juggle that first before thinking about buying the game when it comes out. Pre orders are great, my friend got the whole collectors edition for Dark Souls 3 and its so cool. Every playthrough I usually update it as much as I can.
I dunno really, it could be possible. I just want to have a elven character for the new game to try and stop Solas and have the Inquisitor confront him. Okay seeing Sera fight solas would be really cool to be honest.
