FOUNDING FACTOID
The six Founders I mentioned were not, as some people seem to think, one single mass that shared the exact opinions. In fact, they were serious disputes between them.
Franklin and Adams had serious issues while ministers in France.
Hamilton hated, and engaged in serious political conflicts with Jefferson, Madison, and Adams.
Washington broke off friendships with Jefferson and Madison permanently.
Adams fought with Jefferson and Madison, but reconciled with Jefferson at the end of his life.
So, with a few exceptions, it was pretty much one big hate fest. -
wow

And I guess while I'm on the subject...
FOUNDING FACTOID
The major friendship between the Founders were:
Jefferson and Madison, who were the leaders of the Democratic-Republican party. Probably the closest friendship.
Jefferson and Franklin. Both were in the Continental Congress and both were ministers to France.
Washington and Hamilton. Hamilton was an aide-de-camp to Washington during the Revolutionary War, and Secretary of the Treasury while he was President.
Jefferson and Adams were friends during the Revolutionary War, and in France, but broke over politics. After both had retired from public life, they became friendly again.
Washington was friends with Jefferson and Madison before he decided that they had betrayed him. -
