I know people use it to communicate with people from foreign countries. But I didn't think it was popular tbh.

But when it comes to IG and Twitter
You can talk to people from all around the world/globe...

Ye, I also think it's just easier for parents to use and ish. It looks simple, and all you do is download it. I know that's why my parents use it when they go to Ghana, Togo, or Nigeria. :\
I guess people like using things that they are comfortable with.
