intelligence and awareness are two totally different things. both can be measured, but they apply to different things. intelligence is the mental capacity to obtain new information and use it elsewhere with real world applications. awareness, however, is only the perception of an individual, which does not correlate to being intelligent or "smart". if you're well-informed, that means you have digested the information through mental ability, thus allowing you to use it elsewhere. if awareness was equivalent to intelligence, some people (such as those who are great at a game of chess or checkers and scrabble and so on) would rank similarly to freud, einstein, and so on. and that is not the case. -

and I never said being "aware" had strong correlations to being "smart", so I have no f---ing clue where you got that from
and I don't understand that last part, as yet again never said there was a similarity between competence and awareness and second, chess, checkers, scrabble all have different requirements of how you use your brain but they all automatically require a basis of strategy and patterns, nothing that intellectually deep -

i never implied you said that they had a correlation, but by you did say that there aren't smart people (just more aware). my response was to that. a person owns a level of intellect that applies to how smart they are. superior people aren't just more aware, that's all.
regardless of how many types of intelligence there are, you can still measure intelligence. and if you really don't think the types can be measured through tests and such, then they can always be measured through the amount of firing neurons, neural pathways, axonal connections, and myelin sheath -
