I find it really upsetting that you expect us to care and praise you for deciding you want to do something you like as a job or even for doing something linked to said future job when literally every time one of us tries to do something for the job that we want you follow us around and mock us for it.
If it's not my art it's my characters.
I have openly stated that my characters are terribile but everyday I'm reading up on how to develop them better , I'm actively trying to improve.
I have stayed up night after night looking at those messages you've sent me telling me not to paint anymore just because you think my paintings are bad, I've lost count of the number of times I've felt like I was going to cry and the times where's I actually did.
You claim to be trying to help me but I've had enough of it.
It's not constructive criticism. You're not giving me points on how to improve it. You're just telling me it's trash.
I'm not asking for your opinion.
I don't want you opinion.
Yeah I get that maybe my lack of enthusiasm for your newest project may have upset you but that's only because I didn't have much to say about it. It was pretty and it looked nice.
That's more than you've ever said about my art compliment wise.
Don't start that stupid " Not everyone will like your work" argument you always pull when I say something about it, I'm not seeking you out to show you it. I'm not asking for your opinion you are only saying these things because I threaten you.
I got the job you wanted, I have a loyal group of friends , I get complimented by teachers that you really like.
You are so convinced I'm trying to steal your friends that you've decided to take that out on me.
I'm sick of talking to you now. I don't want to hear your petty rants.
You always say the same thing.
You always tell me I'll never be good enough.
You always tell me I may just as well quit before it's too late.
I have been told by various others that they enjoy my paintings , they think they are beautiful and they love that I'm finally getting involved in something outside of my room. -

Mao, continue to practice, and if drawing makes you happy keep pursuing it. My art teacher started out unable to draw at all. Like it was really bad. Now everyone comes to him for commissions, his art looks like the ones used for movies, and so much more. He legit is asked for his autograph from time to time. This shows that even if you are having a hard time with certain things now, it is possible to loose those bad habits and become an incredible artist. You can have talent and never improve, or you can have an unseen talent in something and bring it out.
It's easy to say that someone is not naturally talented, but the fact of the matter is: With todays technology, it is easy to get better.
So keep trying, and don't stop practicing.
Also, it's okay if some people don't like your art style. Not everyone will. So just focus on making it better, because art is something that improves over time.or not, depending on practice -
Yeah I know not everyone will like my art style but this person is trying to make me upset but they need to be subtle about it.
They have already made comments about my appearance as well as me as a person. -
It seems more like they just don't like you. If a person doesn't like you, they tend to do stuff like that. People like that, you will have to stay away from. Is this in real life, or on the internet?
-
Both.
-
On the internet you may be able to block them. In real life, you would have to step up to them, or get far away from them. Teachers don't help anything.
-
It's the same person and they have been blocked online.
Ehh it's fine I just wnated to vent here because bottling up your emotions is extremely unhealthy. -
You're right. I am glad you at least let it out somewhere. I really hope things clear up though.
