I saw a clip from Funimation lying around in my subscription feed and I clicked on it, and man I was I not surprised
I dyed laughing at how horrendous the dub actors were and how cheesy it is. -

The dub isn't the worst out there, but most dubs in general are pretty horrible so- mhmm

There are some pretty enjoyable English dubs that work, so I have to heavily disagree with you on that.
Some Japanese subs are exasperating too and some work depending on the characters and how the voices align with said characters.
So-
The Yuri on Ice dub sucks. -
