Haha yes I've seen those before. It only takes simple algebra skills (and maybe a pencil and paper) to figure out how it works.

But it also takes time to think of such mathematical solutions. Means the terms should be adjusted so as to get the correct answer. But this type of quiz is interesting.

Nope. I put -2 or Something. He didn't say if it had to be positive or negative numbers

Let me give you guys, a guide
Take a number between 1 to 10.(say 3)
Multiply by 2 (3*2=6)
Multiply the new number by 5 (6*5=30)
Divide it by the original number (30/3=10)
Now subtract it by 7(10-7=3)
Your answer is 3.
This method goes with every number. -
No, it should still work.
-2 x 2 = -4
-4 x 5 = -20
-20 / -2 = 10
10 - 7 = 3 -
There should be positive numbers only.

It also goes with negative numbers but negative numbers increases it's complexity.
