I start trying to hide and panic when I answer something correctly or explain something in a way that makes me look intelligent because people will call me smart, and I don't want to get something wrong and have someone call me stupid. -

Every person I've ever spoken to thinks I'm perfect and understand everything, but that's not the case every single time. It's what happens most of the time. I don't want to get called out.

I don't think you're dumb. A dumb person is someone who is 100% incapable of having common sense or understanding anything at all. That's not you.
It's just extremely disappointing not only to me but to my class and teacher when I'm expected to get something right and get it wrong.
