midnight was about to attack, the shadow gem that was on his forehead seemed to start glowing, suddenly, a black disk of dark energy started forming in his hand -
Sumara held up her right hand, and in it a ball of fire appeared. Bright red it flickered to and fro, like a dancer itching to show its true power.

midnight was surprised, but didn't show it, he threw the black disk at sumara

She dodged, and in turn through the fire at his face. It formed a circled around his eyes, blinding him with hot light.

midnight was stunned, he tried to get the fire off his face, he made the most unusual noise ever, it was like hissing, but almost like roaring to, when he finally got it off, he was really angry, the shadow gem seemed to be glowing brighter

Sumara blinked calmly, watching Midnight with intense eyes.

midnight tried to blast sumara with a beam of dark energy

She quickly blocked with a wall of fire, never once showing what she felt.

midnight said," ha, you think you are so good just because you dont get hit, well you are wrong!" as he said it, he slowly faded away and became invisible, he went to a different spot and said," I'm over here!" then he moved behind her

Sumara knew not to fall for such a trick. She stayed still, not moving a muscle. Listening for movements.
