I got the chance to go to North Carolina and see the mountains since we evacuated due to Matthew. That was the first time I've ever been to the mountains. My house is fine. A lot of trees and powerlines were down around town, but no one was injured or died. It's so weird being back because it's all flat land here, and it's so mountainous in North Carolina.

It took seven hours to drive there. I got really bad headaches.
We got out of school on Thursday at 1:00. It was weird because it was supposed to be a full school day. Evacuations were ordered, so we got out early. I didn't get to go to my last class. That was my favorite class. We didn't have school Friday. We don't have school today, and it's cancelled tomorrow because people still don't have power or water. -
