We just started playing this piece called Adrenaline Engines in band, and the teacher is trying to push us. "This piece is difficult. You all need to show me that you want to be here and that you want to play this at the competition this year."
I really like it. The reason why it's difficult is the time signatures change almost constantly. For example: The first six measures are the same note, G for me, but the time signature switches between 4/4 and 2/4. I really love it overall, the challenge.

Also, I've been here for over two years. I feel old, but I'm not. 😂 -
If you're saxophone or clarinet, you have to drop your chin slightly at the end of each measure to cause that "drop" affect. It's funny because my friend Ricki has a double chin when she drops her chin. It's like 4/4 G G G G. [double chin]
-
She also tilts her head when she plays which means you get a beautiful side angle of a double chin every measure.

when a user actually talks about meaningful stuff and everyone just ignores them

Thank you. You are a wonderful human being. -
Ignore that .

I want to watch mallots learn how to play their part because they're still getting better at alternate sticking, and we only have three percussionist. Two of them sit back and chill half of the time. 😂

Jayden was dabbing to the music. It was amazing.

The band director didn't let us take the sheet music home. We can only practice with everyone. It makes sense, but it doesn't. We want to get better at it, but someone might screw up the time signatures and get used to playing it wrong if they practice by themselves.

You're in Band, I'm assuming?
(pretty obvious)
But how long have you been in Band? -
I mean, yes.
The year just started so about a month. I've been playing since May though. I can already play three octaves, and I play level three music. -
holy crap you're sone little geius in everything aren't you D:
-
I don't do things the easy way sometimes, you know. That's what you have to do sometimes. 6th grade plays levels 0-1, 7th grade plays 1-2, and 8th grade plays 3+. I joined in 8th.

You have to learn really fast and be good with pressure and time.
