Yes, well... There are three ways to have a sparkling.
One: Spark merging. Two lovers press their spark chambers together, making them bonded, or, in your case, married. No ceremony needed. It usually takes at least three times before a sparkling is made.
Every time they merge, a piece of their spark is left to the other, making it possible for them to share memories, feelings, and pain or pleasure. Two mechs or two femmes are able to do this. We are very different then your species. No need for you-know-what.
Two: The Well of Allsparks. Primus makes new-sparks and sets them off to find a protoform. Pretty easy. After that, Primus gifts them to a family. Done.
Three: Mostly like human interface. Thats all Im sayin.
