I forgot my clarinet in my science class. That's my last class and the class I leave to go to the busses at the end of the day. I left it under my desk, and the vice principal wouldn't let me grab it. I had to go to the school after I got off of the bus and get it. The lady at the office stared at me and called the custodian so she could get the keys to the room. She kept stuttering h- sh- they need to go to Mr. *******'s class to grab hi- their instrument. I thought it was funny.

I almost forgot. We're getting Milestone scores tomorrow morning in first period. We're getting official scores and not the estimated scores. I'm excited. The scores didn't count when it comes to whether or not you failed your previous grade this year because there was a glitch in the system. It was either fail everyone or pass everyone because of that glitch, and the majority passed.

The only thing I know is guaranteed is I excelled and exceeded the stand in social studies because my social studies said I did, so that's one weight off of my shoulders. I could be a politician if I keep this up.

Government and economy comes easily to me. I just take the information in. I understand it. Everyone else seems to struggle with it.

My teacher said I would be a great politician because she said I'm really good with debates and reasoning. She said I'm good with counter statements but still finding flaws and explaining it. I'm good at explaining things with a sophisticated and large vocabulary, her words.

I was looking at the standards from kindergarten to now earlier, and the list of standards just gets longer, more detailed, and more complex every year.

I have that stereotypical math teacher this year that talks in a low voice and isn't interactive or engaging at all. The entire class is silent. I can't begin to explain how many kids have fallen asleep. Even I drifted in and out of focus because he's doing nothing but lecturing.

I was playing the Bb scale in band this morning, and Taylor told me to play it again. Every time I know someone is watching me regardless of who it is I mess up badly. 😂 There are 36 people in the 8th grade band, so I'm not nervous if I'm practicing by myself. If the band director says Play solo in thirds with the entire band, my mind goes blank. I play C D E F G A B C D E F G A Bb then stop. I don't know why. That's just what happens.

There's this one scale I really like. It's easy and short, and it sounds cool. It's C E D F E F A and so on and so forth until you get to C then you go back down if you get the pattern.

I'm not looking at the sheet music, but I know how you're supposed to place your fingers. I had to go through and match the notes with the positions for a minute.
