What are your thoughts on Rugal and Igniz? -
I dunno, they all look cool? I never played many KOF games other than X, and like you, i'm not too good at them. I just really like the characters.

Me too. When I couldn't beat my brother at the game, I decided to beat him in knowledge. I like the characters so f---ing much, I pretty much know everything there is to know about them.
If you were good at the game, I'd recommend kof 94 and 95. The graphics are not very good, but Rugal is awesome. Unfortunately, the controls are different and I couldn't even get past the first team... -
Does the same go for the Metal Slug characters like Fio, Eri, Marco, and Tarma?

Ah, okay.
I first saw Leona and was introduced to the metal slug franchise with Metal Slug Defense, a mobile game. I was pretty much a completionist in that game, getting 3 stars, S rank, and rescuing all the hairy guys on every level. I WAS INVINCIBLE

I saw her first there too! I wasn't invincible though, I might've left some of the hairy guys to die.. Anyway, I didn't know who she was then. When I saw her on kof, she felt really familiar. So I read about her, put 2 and 2 together, and I was like, OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS CHICK!
Its not. I felt like it was mocking me. -
HHH that game was too much fun. What units did you use the most that you can remember?
Why not try a more recent KOF game? If you use IOS, i'm pretty sure KOF X is free. -
Honestly, all I remember is going through a forest, and other enemy bases while shooting the crap out of everything. It was 6 years ago.
Android. And I play them on the laptop. I played XIII pretty easily. -

I never understood the guage meter thing. Did you? -
The thing about the gauge meter is, you hit your opponent and it fills up. When its full, you can break the gauge, and you're allowed to use extra special super moves for a while until the gauge wears out. That's how it goes. How to break the gauge however is a damned mystery to me. You have to press 3 or more specific buttons at once. Which ones, I have no idea.

I love when I by some godly miracle manage to activate the gauge and then, by pure luck, actually manage to pull off one of the moves. ;w; it's like an extra long fry from mcdonalds. A holy blessing.

I know right? I managed to do a hidden move of Kyo, I was in so much awe that I didn't realize my opponent blocked the whole thing and the next thing I know, Kyo's KO.
