  oh, and to get good grades, like JaneDoe said, use your textbooks! if you read through them, you can usually easily find the answers to worksheets.
  
  I was very fortunate last year to have an excellent math teacher. It really depends on your school. If your teachers aren't all that great, don't underestimate the power of the internet. But really try to learn the material, because if you don't have a good foundation in say, algebra or science, you are really going to struggle in the following grades. ask for help from whoever you can -- your teachers, upperclassman...

  What sort of classes are you taking? Any honors or AP, or just normal ones?

  Try to make high grades too. Your final four years of school really count on college. Middle school doesn't exactly matter much (it does but barely.).
