I messed up washing her hair and ended up conditioning twice (forgot to squeeze out excess water before adding the conditioner, a technique I've only recently picked up).

Like, usually you can boil the doll's hair to curl or straighten it.

You can create curlers out of foil and pour boiling water over the doll's hair, and then set her aside to dry for some hours to curl a doll's hair. That's usually the method I would use.
