Thread Topic: Serious question
-
Does anyon everyone here believe in the extraterrestrial life or believe that we are not alone in the universe?
-
Anyone* I f---ing hate auto correct
-
yesss
-
i'm pretty skeptical, though i guess it's possible because we do live in a big universe
-
Really? I do too. I mean, the universe is way too big. And if it's as big as scientists say, which its f---ing huge, there's no way that there aren't any other living creatures or things. Even if it's like a bacteria cell or a plant.
-
meh
i don't really care to be honest -
There are also unexplained phenomenon from things around the world. Like, The Hum. There are a s--- ton of theories about it with possible explanations, but couldn't it be something not of this world?
-
I heard something once that made sense as to why we haven't contacted the extraterrestrial
Somebody came up with a theory that we, in a sense, aren't smart enough to make contact or communicate with anything out there. It's like a person walks by a caterpillar resting on a sidewalk. Chances are, the caterpillar won't notice the person because it's not that aware of its surroundings. We are like the caterpillar, and the human is like whatever beings are out there.
I'm sorry it's late. I'm just trying to remember how the guy said it, but it sounds weird coming out of me. -
I'm not trying to sound like a conspiracy theorist here, or try to convince you of "little green or grey men" (which probably exist, we don't know) all I'm saying is that there have been things documented that are still unexplained.
-
but tbh i would get lit with them screaming ayyyye lmao into the vast universe of stars
or i could just get lit with one of you guys :P
wow I need to get some sleep XD -
SIB: Exactly! We may not be able to see thing the way extraterrestrials do and vice versa. Just like an ant or caterpillar would see us.
-
there's possibilities but I don't dwell on it
by the time we reach and find new brands of foreign species, most of us won't even be alive to see the discovery
there's probably people there that dedicate their time to such absurdity, but yeah
i believe a possibility like most, but I don't see any evidence -
*out there
-
Not only that, but as stated above, the universe is way to big. We probably could only see a fraction of a millionth of it.
-
seee I thought that was a pretty explainable theory
also when you get the chance tomorrow, look up the video "the real men in black"
it's kinda creepy, but it's these bald, creepy guys who tell people who believe in aliens and stuff to get rid of their work
