My class was let out of school late and it was our teacher's fault for turning up to assembly late. :/

Assembly finishes later anyway but most people were shouting and the teacher couldn't get their attention. -

We weren't the only class though. We also have assembly every other Monday (which happens to be next week) and when it's not our turn to have assembly on Mondays we get the day off. So we end up not missing anything.
We had assembly on March 13 and 27 and on March 20 when we weren't supposed to have an assembly we had an exam. Then came the holidays and 2 bank holidays on our non-assembly days. And the other year group gets to miss out on assemblies and gets to go home earlier. -
Oh that's complicated. But it doesn't sound too bad.

Yeah it's a bit complicated with the weekly changes, we would not have had assembly on Monday had it not been a bank holiday. Assemblies are stupid, it's just a reason to extend the school day.
