Okay, so Imma be getting a kitty pretty soon, whenever the weather warms up, and I was wondering what breed I should get.
I know the perfect breed for people depends on where the live: weather, how active the owner is and all that.
And I've found some good breeds for me: Manx, Cymric, Norwegian Forest, Maine Coon and American Curl.
But I was wondering if they were anymore that would suit me. I know GTQ has a lot of cat luvers so I was looking for some tips, suggestions and advice.
I live in Minnesota, so it's always pretty cold, but super hot in the summer. I'm pretty active so I'd like my kitty to be, too. Um...I want a kitty that likes affection and likes to be pet. And a kitty thats not really indepent, but still does go on its own if I'm at school.
Okay, so, any sugestions? -

There's a breed called 'Javanese'. They fit your discrption but are terribly jealous of other animals and may be too entergetic, if that's even possibe.xD -
I have a Calico. She is REALLY hyper but extremely cuddly too. Actually, I strongly reccomend them. They can go in both hot and cold weather. Just Calico's can annoy other animals with their energy and constant want to play. But yeah, they're pretty cuddly and sweet in general :3

But another thing is, I guess you don't see many male Calico's. So if you're looking for a Male you probably won't find one. I have a Female and she's great.

i have a tabby who loves attention, and a tortise shell..mi tabby is kinda like a ragdoll kitty and is mostly a quit boy. mi tortise shell is strange..at times she wants to be petted non top and other times she wants to be left alone. plus she's rly loud xP
