But regardless, we're supposed to follow the bible- meaning we can't value one part of it more important than the other because it supports our views
-
So why are you pointing out scriptures if you know man wrote it?
-
Well not just the Bible. Jewesh people have the Torra. ( did I spell that right?) witch is the first 5 books of the ible
-
I don't know actually.
It started as a discussion about a gorilla and then changed. -
-
Because how can we trust any of the bible, anyways? if the bible says that, what makes the rest of the book trustworthy? how do we know the rest are just lies? For example, people of the LGBT community. Certain Christians could be persecuting them for no reason- just because some man decided he hated anyone who wasn't straight one day.
-
Bibles now don't have that stuff in it. They try and sugar coat it. So when you say persecuting it's mostly verbal
-
Which is still wrong mind you.
I mean I've experienced the LGBT discrimination first hand ( Wrongly mind you ) in a f---ing McDonalds. -
Yeah, I have as well, with my family.
-
That must have been really hard. Getting it from stranger sis one thing but the people who love you is another thing.
-
You just said you're a Christian and that we are to follow everything in the book, but you're doing the complete opposite?
-
here is my opinion on the LGBT. If you wanna be gay, be gay I don't care. But I don't believe in Gay Marrige.
-
that's not what I said. I said it's hypocritical to push your beliefs about one thing and completely ignore another. I'm aware of all parts of the book, sir. I never said I, myself, am not hypocritical in one way or another. Being gay is supposed to be a sin- I understand that.
But to take a part of the bible out of context (the whole humans can do whatever they want with animals) is hypocritical. because, first, it never says that. and second, you're using religion as an excuse- the same religion which condemns myself to hell. I don't use my religion as an excuse for anything. I take responsibility for my actions. I never say "Oh you cut your hair- yeah you're an abomination" We're all abominations, according to the bible. -
I'm just going to quickly say something.
I don't understand the term " I believe in this or I don't believe in that " if it's real then you kind of have to believe in it don't you? Could someone explain to me please why people say that.
Kay bro, I mean I'm still going to get married to my Lillith when she's comfortable with a transgender as her partner , again. We may nto techincly be gay but we will always have teh grossed out faces who don't understand I'm not female lolXD. -
I don't believe in marriage at all XD I think it's stupid. The government regulating that s--- and making it doesn't mean what it used to.
but as for gay marriage, I believe if one church wants to marry them, fine. if another church doesn't, fine. same with bakeries. they can refuse their service as much as they want- but at the end of the day you're losing money.
