i do agree, it was a bit foolish of shaun to tell chris, but you have to put that behind you and try to move on... i know you can fix this brooke. it may not be right away. it might be six months from now, or a year, but you'll figure something out. you're a very very smart person. you're sweet and kind and fun to be around. if they can't see what a great person you are, then they're missing out on something huge.

it's a novel written by greg mortensen. basically, it's about how he went to K2 to place his sister's necklace at the top (she died) but he ended up having to leave. he thought he was headed for a larger village with aid, but he ended up in korphe... it basically tells about his promise to build schools and how he accomplished it. it's a very touching book. my favourite quote is, "The first time you share tea with a Balti, you are a stranger. The second time you take tea, you are an honored guest. The third time you share a cup of tea, you become family..."
