how did Nessie ended up being adopted? what happened to Eden? things like that.

Yee~ She's not adopted. She was kidnapped. By Susannah to get Nessa's blood to give her the abilities she has wanted. Eden, Nessa's mother, and Asa her father continued to look for her, but in their community it was rare to have any interaction with the humans. Basically it was forbidden unless you are doing business like food exchanges.

No. You see, Nessa is sixteen. When her abilities start to show, like anyone else. But during the Prologue Nessa was doing huge things very young. But no right encouragements, made her powers go dormant. But when she turns sixteen they'll come back, and sooner or later starts to fully understand everything
