Stars
Above us
Up so high
You watch over those below
Proecting us
And guiding us home
Your bright light
Shines on all
Never judging
Peole look up to you
And wonder what's out there
They talk to you and make wishes
Patiently and quietly
You listen
Gracious and beautiful
We all look up to you
And you look down
Watching everything
But never criticizing
Sweet stars
How we wonder what you are
thats not one of my best -
The path
Walking down the path
Head up
Eyes looking forward
I have a destintion that I must reach
A mission that has to be completed
Though I am leaving loved ones behind
I will look from above
And watch over them
This seperation will not be forever
I will be waiting with my arms out wide
HE takes my hand and guides me the rest
of the way
Do not grieve for me
Because I have been blessed
With happiness and a loved ones touch
Down the path I walk
With my head held high
And a smile on my face
I wrote this one for my grandpa.. -
