Hello there. My full name is Maru Annabel Taeryo. I am agender, panromantic, and gynesexual. I am an atheist. I want to see the world more compassionate by the time I die.

1. What are your nicknames? What do you prefer to be called?
The nicknames I can think of right now are Mari, Sunnybutt, and Mars Bar. I'm sure there are others, but there are those. I also have several aliases, but those aren't nicknames so much as alternate identities.
2. What books on your shelf are begging to be read?
The entire Warriors and Seekers series, and the Daughter of Smoke and Bone books.
3. How often do you doodle? What do your doodles look like?
Occasionally. Less now that I'm out of school. They usually look pretty edgy. It's frankly ridiculous.
4. What do you do if you cant sleep at night? Do you count sheep? Toss and Turn? Try to get up and do something productive?
I generally lie there and let my own hopelessness eat me alive until I get too terrified and distract myself with daydreaming and finally black out.
5. How many days could you last in solitary confinement? How would you do it?
Indefinite. I usually want to be alone anyway, but every now and then I get really affectionate and I need someone to be cuddly with.
6. Do you save old greeting cards and letters? Throw them away?
I save them out of guilt.
7. Who is the biggest pack rat you know?
Fruit. I stepped in a plate of asparagus she refused to remove from our room once. It was disgusting.
8. When making an entrance in to a party, do you make your presence known? Do you slip in and look for someone you know? Do you sneak in quietly and find a safe spot to roost?
I stay on the heels of whoever I know best.
9. What is your strongest sense? If you had to give one up, which would it be?
My hearing is probably my strongest sense. I would give up my sense of smell if it had to be something.
10. How many times a day do you look at yourself in the mirror?
Generally about ten? Got a lot of s--- to fix during my breaks.

my birthgiver was a good person lol
12. What is one guilty pleasure you enjoy too much to give up?
Drinking.

Spiders, I guess? I just don't like the idea of them crawling into my ears or something.

Depends on my mood. If I'm feeling sad, I'll avoid conflict just so I don't have to speak. Any other time I'll fight anything.

a small child who told me I was beautiful with no provocation

my complete lack of motivation to live

In some respects. I establish routines and I like to follow them. I also love trying new things. I'm not sure where I draw the line.

Both! I have a very cheerful persona at work and it's convinced everyone there that they're my friends which is adorable. I also have my real friends, though, and they're the ones that know me.

Both. I refuse to be restrained, but I like to help others do their best as well.
24. Whats a strange occurrence youve experienced but have never (or rarely) shared with anyone?
Quite often, when I'm alone in this house, I'll think I hear someone try the door. I told someone the first time this happened, but have since realized that I'm just an overdramatic dumbf--- and decided to leave everyone else out of my paranoia, no matter how scared I am.
25. What do you think about more than anything else?
The fact that I'm going to live and die alone. -

27. Do you prefer that people shoot straight with you or temper their words? Why?
I will go to great lengths to pretend not to recognize what someone is getting at if they don't say it outright, actually. I don't like being hinted at. I get especially irritated when someone wants something from me but they don't want to ask, so instead they indicate that they want it in an indirect way so I'll bring it up and it'll seem like I'm offering instead of them asking. I won't do it.
28. Wheres your favourite place to take an out-of-town guest?
Sister's Tea House and Three Margaritas.
29. Whats one thing youd rather pay someone to do than do yourself? Why?
I don't know man

no but I use the word "motherf---er" a lot

I like people that are bold enough to say what they're thinking. The exception is those whose beliefs harm other people, in which case, they need to shut their f---ing mouths and let someone smarter talk.

Usually with my left side down because I'm really worried that if I lie the other way my heart will tear off and fall into the right side of my body

I'm just gonna say Union, MO because I practically grew up there and my time there was the only time I've ever been happy

I have one in mind, but I don't want to call it "broken" just yet. I'm hoping he'll recover and be willing to continue on as my friend.

Yep. Being unaware of things makes it really easy to be happy. Once you start noticing how s---ty things and people are, it starts weighing on you.

Not really. I hold on to them and then remember them randomly and feel bad about them.

I don't bother.

All of them. Everything I believe in, I'll fight for.

The only person I bother lying to is my birthgiver. Everyone else gets the truth, no matter how hurtful it is.
49. When did you immediately click with someone you just met? Why? What was the long term result? Conversely, are you close with anyone now that you really disliked at first?
Sam. He and I had a lot in common and he had a great sense of humor. The long term result was a relationship I can't explain and a subsequent falling out because I can't figure my s--- out. I don't think I'm friends with anyone I disliked.
