Yeah, and I meant that. If you're losing friends for your s---ty political views, maybe you need to reevaluate them, or find friends who share them. I'm not interested in continuing this conversation with a coward, so you can scoot. Or not, doesn't really matter. I'm going to work now anyway.

A liberal will be just like you, pretentious and always thinking they are right, and think that minorities such as them are vulnerable. and always harassed and attacked when they have just about the same standard freedoms as everybody else in this country and it varies between people of how they are affected. What is exactly YOUR interpretation of islamophobia, as I have asked?
Because I bet it would be absolutely gorgeous to read. They are more safer in this country rather than being in Syria where again bombs drop probably every 5 minutes there. Those sources depend on the factors of where prejudice lurks, as you have stated the whole nation disfavors Muslims when only small areas with hillbillies and disgusting rednecks have a public cheerleader to sprout their suppressed opinions. The whole islamophobia term is warped by many, and probably you. I can assume that you can decipher people that criticize the religion of Islam and are just plain executing ordinary prejudice where free thought lacks. -

I agree. Why have an echo chamber of friends? I have friends with different political views and it's much more fun to discuss issues rather than nodding that everyone is some hateful, [insert]phobic. x'0

Alright, so:
1. Again, there are not different interpretations of islamophobia. Just insisting that there are doesn't change that fact. Discrimination and hated targeting Muslims is islamophobia, and all of my sources demonstrate it.
2. ?? Yes, it's driven by fear. Fear and the narrow-minded idea that western ideals are the only valid ones. What's your point?
3. I can hear and discuss opposing political views in hopes of changing minds, but at the end of the day, I choose not to be friends with these people not because I'm not interested in hearing the other side, but because the other side hurts people, and I want to punish them. If you are of the opinion that some innocent people don't deserve the same rights that others enjoy, if your views directly hinder the ability of perfectly decent people to live their lives, you don't deserve friends. I want to starve them of human interaction. I want them to feel like their views make them less desirable people, because they do. I wish everyone would do the same. I don't care if anyone thinks it's bad to discontinue friendships based upon political disagreements- if you hurt innocent people, you need to be alienated. -
