I've always love the whole, "It's the internet, get over it." defense. Yes, it's the internet, and what does the internet do? It connects real people. Everyone receiving those hateful comments are real people, just trying to have a nice time. And the people sending them? Real people, with malicious intent. You say, "It's just the internet." like this type of thing is a given, and it should just be accepted, but that wouldn't be the case if disgusting people like you weren't around causing problems. The fact that this is the internet doesn't change the fact that you're making a choice to be a s---ty person, it just allows you to pretend it's normal and acceptable conduct.

hhhh
I digress
I'd like to sing a song but I can't think of one -
I'm thinking "Calling All Skeletons" by Alkaline Trio
I've had this song since Bro let me sort through all of his music and never really listened to the words until a couple days ago
it's so good -
*loved the whole

"If I Get High" by Nothing But Thieves has got my attention, too
but I don't think I could sing it
too many high notes -
And it also disconnects people. It further drives you out of reality and you become addicted to people you don't know, rather than enjoying your time outside and connecting with people without a little device doing everything for you.
And yes, it's the internet for a reason. The internet is a strange and intense place, it's your little universe to be someone who you aren't. People will be mean, people will be nice, and yes, get over it. Your feelings doesn't make a point, because emotions shouldn't be considered as logic. -
It's more of that you should not allow the oppinions of someone who is likely anonymous and known to be hostile for no reason affect you.
-
People like you take the internet seriously, when it shouldn't. So yes, get over it. I agree. It shouldn't be probed at. If you're so grown, so well-rounded and developed, you should have the ability to get over it.
-
That is completely beside the point, but okay.
1. "It's the internet for a reason." God, you sound stupid.
2. People will be mean, but it shouldn't be condoned and it certainly shouldn't be passed off as something normal that should just be accepted. It should be punished as it would offline.
3. ???????????
4. Logic has nothing to do with it. There's no logic to your behavior to begin with. The whole point of what you do is hurting people's feelings.
That's fine, I can understand that. That's what you tell the person that's being insulted, though. You tell the person that's starting s--- that they're an awful person and no one wants them, not that what they're doing is okay because it's the internet. -
the nice sample lady from work keeps giving me food
those sandwiches were f---ing awesome and now I want to spend money I don't have on stuff to make them -
But offline isn't online. Everything changes once you get onto the internet. Then I guess everyone on this planet should be condoned for their natural behavior.
And their feelings show what point exactly? -
lmao okay
Offline isn't online, but the people who are online still exist offline, and those people (that's you!) are making the choice to be s---ty humans. Literally nothing changes when you're on the internet- you're still the same person and so are the people you attack. Is telling yourself this is all different from real life how you justify being a little b---- all the time? It doesn't count because it's the internet? That's f---ing laughable.
That's awfully funny, actually. It seems like you're implying that it's only natural to treat everyone like s---. Yet you're one of the only people here who feel the need to do this? That's weird. You must be an outstanding case. -
Burn me alive if you feel that's justified.
