did i tell u about the emo situation the other day -

i was at a family gathering (as you know) and my youngest cousin brought along her little snot bag of a friend. i should've known this kid was gonna be trouble from our first impression (that or she made fun of my other younger cousin's hair, despite having nearly the same haircut. w/e tho)
anyways, youngest is excited to see me and show me that she's cut her hair short and is done with braces. i tease her a bit beforehand as one would, then congratulate her. suddenly her friend, who's sitting at the table across the patio, shouts to us. "yeah and she looks way more emo lmao"
i immediately roll my eyes and say, "yeah well her emo will never compare to mine. because i was there. in 2011." and the friend's expression turns from, 'ha i just showed my friend,' to, 'wait you think you're emo, with your blonde hair and bright green pun t-shirt,' to, 'wait what the f--- how old are you'
so not only was i judged for being there in the end of emo, but for hanging out with my little cousins. she thought she was emo tho, but like.... so wasn't. she was 2012 cutecore/rAnDoM than actual emo. she was bordering on edgelord, but trying way too hard
it was amusing -
I'm pretty sure the whole cutecore/rAnDoM thing is considered scene, yeah? Anyway, that's hilarious.

well yeah no definitely but it was like, watered down scene
she proceeded to hop in one of my uncle's kayaks, paddle out into the sound, and terrorize a seal

(no, she says "there are some things you don't know about; why I borrow your lipstick so often" and then, in the video, jenny lends her her lipstick and leans back in her seat, presumably to nap or something, and cherry goes and licks the lipstick)
