if something bad was happening to me and someone was too scared to intervene or couldn't hear me screaming/see me struggling, i would never, ever forgive them. someone is being attacked. what the hell are you doing standing there? listening to music?
if you're one of those people, who doesn't help me, i will hate you. i will hate your guts and want you to have the same thing happen to yourself that happened me. i want you to be attacked and i'm absentmindedly listening to music with my back turned.

Well if they can't hear it, then they're not even aware that you're in trouble. But if someone knows you need help and they just sit there, that would be ridiculous. I can't say exactly how I'd feel since I've never been in that situation.

You have a point, but if someone I knew wouldn't do that for me, it'd be a major sign that they didn't care about me much. I guess that's how I see it.

That's disappointing. If it were for my family or close friends, of course I'd be afraid, but I want to protect them.
