Jesille wondered around her home, trying to find anything to get he mind off the note.
TV, reading, doodling, even homework. Nothing suited her and it would still be a couple hours until her parents got home.
Jesille could stand being alone no longer, and got on her bike and rode back into town. -

Piper'seyes widened at the note. "What the Hell...." she said, getting up and throwing it away.

Jesille rode to her friend's home's, seeing if they would want to want to bike with her. But they were all out of town.
Dissapointed, Jesille retreated to the park where toddlers screamed on swings and down slides.
She sat under a mulberry tree, and across the park, sitting on a bench, was a man looking at her. -
"Mom, I'm feeling a bit dizzy. I'm gonna go out for some fresh air." Piper called, walking out and closing the door behind her so fast she didn't even hear her mother's reply. She took out her roller blades, and rolled around the neighboorhood.

His eyes shimmered even in the dim sunlight. Jesille shifted closer to the tree as though it would protect her. The branches murmured softly, and Jesille swore they wear saying Run.
But Jesille stayed, even against her instincts to flee. A cold breeze kicked up, and Jesille tried to look anywhere but at the man. A budding flower, a small snow pile, a puddle, a girl roller blading. -
Piper stopped beside a large tree, directly across from one with a girl sitting beneath it.
