"It's fine." He smiled. "Let's wash your hair." -
Hmmm...
She smiled faintly and nodded, allowing him to lead her forward. -
He carefully put her head under the water, washing. "Anything you want?"

'Nothing, really. I just don't wanna look stupid anymore.'

"A bob?"

'Yeah, that could work! It'd certainly look a lot better.'

"Alright." He finished up and combed her hair.

She felt a little nervous. Almost every time she was around somebody, she ended up saying something or doing something offensive to them without meaning to, so she kept her mouth closed most of the time.

"You can talk." He started cutting carefully.

'Not really. Almost every time I open my mouth, I say something offensive.'

"Heh. I'm gay hunny. I got offended more in school than anywhere else."

'Also, I...uhh, have basically...well, nothing to talk about. Nothing ever comes to mind.'

"Anything you're interested in is fine."

'Well, that's the thing. I was interested in a lot of things, but these goddamn memory issues just...well, you know.'
