'You couldn't tell?' Leeza asked, mimicking Tallie's voice. 'Typical.' -
"Amusing." Mimi cleaned her heel and took David's hand.

David stuck his tongue out at Tallie and held onto Mimi's hand.

She kissed his cheek and took him out of the room.

'Gee, I'm glad all that tension is finally over.' David sighed.

"Yeah. Where's Elaine?"

'Probably upstairs as usual.' He looked confused. 'Why?'

He kept looking at her, obviously VERY confused. She NEVER asked about Elaine.
