It's a face mudmask. -
I guessed that.
'Well...' Tanya began, looking a little unnerved. 'He has sudden outbursts of anger or depression. And he always thought that he saw people with their throats slit open, and started pointing them out. But none of us saw them. He'd also lock himself in the closet every night and hold his breath and stay still for a really, really long time. He acted like he'd died in there.' -
"We just need to help him. Your dad didn't know what to do and he should've."

'And my mom tried to help.' she added. 'But we all know what THAT lead to...'

"His obsession with her. He'll get over it the more he talks to Dory."
