'Oh...my...god. Dad? What the fhawk are you doing in town?' (Omg, she's 8-years-old and she just swore) -

'Just someone I know.' Marshall shrugged. 'Bet you thought you'd never see me again.'

'I heard about all those new murders of yours. With the teenage boy, and that woman. That was fhawking wicked.' She chuckled. 'No wonder I respect you so much!' -

(Silent is easily passed on. So the more he was around her, the higher the chance she had of being infected. It's like a disease, anyone could be infected. Except those with the power of sigma. They don't contract it as easily.)
Akai stared at them. "What the hell is going on?" -
