"He's upset because I told him and James to get over Elaine."
"He's just a boy. Let him take his time."
He sighed again. "Giles? Do you want to know what Elaine and I were talking about?" -
'It doesn't really matter now, but go ahead, tell me.'

"The reason I need you two to get over her is because she saw something and she doesn't want it to be real. And knowing how you can get, makes me worry. You're both going to hurt her emotionally if it happens."

'Oh, yeah? Tch. Well, what did she see, then?'

"You were both beaten to the point of bleeding and both of you ripped out each others eyes. I told you, he could snap if he felt the need to."

'Hm. Well, that's just a problem because he dies too.'

"Giles. I care about you. And Elaine may dislike the way you are towards her, but she doesn't want you to die."

'Well, that's just because he hasn't killed himself, or had someone else kill him.'
