You know that feeling... you are stuck between two choices.. you don't want either of them but you'll have to make a decision anyway..

I had a friend that was my best friend for over ten years. She started to change, and ghosted me constantly. I eventually let her go, and she ended up being really nasty to me. Few months pass, she comes back saying she's sorry and that she misses me. I, being a dumb---, forgave her. She ghosted me, haven't heard from her in over 6 months.
And you know what?
I've never been happier.
She's not worth it. It isn't fair if you spend all of your time on someone who won't even bat an eye at you. They should appreciate your time with them. People shouldn't ever be taken for granted. It hurts for the first couple months, but once you have that weight off of you, it's great! -
I get that, but I guarantee that new best friend will be much more comforting.
