A precious friendship
A little cold girl who sits alone and cries
A girl whose every happiness in this world dies
She lost almost all her friends
Her every relationship reached its end
She used to sit alone in the dark and cry
She had no one to love, no one to rely
But after a few days she saw a flame of light reaching towards her
It was someone she had known but the figure was blur
You're not alone the voice would utter
It was a trusted friend, someone who would never flutter
She came near her and sat by her side
And made her blissful whenever with tears she cried
"You're awesome" her best friend would say
And those words always made her day
But slowly the time and the season changed
The girl gained all her friends which were once estranged
She forgot about her best friend
And started to think that their relationship had come to an end
One day it was her birthday
"Happy birthday" her newly gained friends would say
Her best friend never came to her and wished her, this made her really sad
She thought that probably befriending her was a decision made really bad
After a few days from her birthday, she accidentally found a card
Believing that it was from her best friend was really hard
The card muttered a million words
It made the girl realise how much ignorance hurts
After that day there was something precious between the two girls
Their relationship was now as pure, radiant, and precious as pearls. -
