You look up one thing. One thing. And it's pretty interesting to read, so you're like, one more thing. I just want to read one more page about this. And then you've got twelve tabs open and you're plugging in your laptop for the long haul. Anyway, for anyone who's interested in learning more about Maru Sues, I've found some interesting pages on this very helpful website. Read with me, if you like.

this is actually getting really out of hand and it's not just about the Mary Sues anymore
This one actually doesn't cover what I had hoped it would, which would be the emotionally burdened and angsty ten year olds, or, let's say, twelve year olds being involved in a highly intimate, committed, healthy and loving relationship which really just doesn't suit their emotional maturity. Similarly, and I've been guilty of this myself, young children as assassins and the like. Somehow able to take down several grown men at eleven years old. This s--- is important.
